Values & Who We Work With

Karma Journey Co., we support individuals who are seeking greater meaning, awareness, and clarity in their work, wellbeing, and life direction.
But that sentence alone doesn’t fully explain why this work matters to me.
The people I am drawn to work with are often navigating more than one thing at once. A career shift. A personal transition. Questions about identity. Cultural expectations. Burnout. A quiet sense that something needs to change but not knowing where to begin.
I understand that complexity because I have lived it.
My own life sits at many intersections. Indo-Fijian. Woman of colour. Descendant of Girmitiya ancestors. A migrant by both choice and circumstance. Born in Fiji, to a Hindu family, though today I identify more as spiritual than religious. I have experienced both poverty and relative stability, and I have been shaped by family trauma and silence but also by education, opportunity, and resilience.
None of these exist in isolation.
And neither do the people I work with.
Our Values Shape Our Work
The work at Karma Journey Co. is grounded in core beliefs and values that have emerged through lived experience, healing, and continued learning.
Freedom and justice
I value autonomy and fairness. I believe people should have the space to make decisions about their own lives without feeling trapped by obligation or expectation.
Meaningful work
Work is not just income. It is identity, contribution, dignity, and sometimes survival. When work lacks meaning, something inside us begins to shrink.
Health & Wellbeing
Emotional and physical wellbeing are not luxuries. They are foundations to everything else we do in life and work.
Curiosity and independence
I believe in learning. In asking better questions. In not settling for inherited narratives when we can examine them for ourselves.
Love, relationships, and friendship
Growth does not happen in isolation. We are shaped by our connections, and we heal in relationship.
These values are not abstract. They shape how I hold space.
They shape the way power is handled in a session.
They shape the kind of conversations we are willing to have.
The Long-Term Benefit To Clients
Clarity does not always arrive instantly.
But over time, something shifts.
You begin to notice your patterns.
You ask better questions.
The benefit is not just a new job or a single decision.
It is capacity.
Capacity to reflect. Capacity to choose. Capacity to navigate complexity with steadiness and more self-awareness.
And that is something you carry long after our sessions end.
